Chapter 1: Introduction
This document was commissioned by the great Planewatcher family to record a public record of the history of its people. We will go over parts of its history from the Star Empire's fall to the trail of sorrows and finally the building of the great library city of the Divine Emperor. What I record here will be based on the information provided to me by the heads of the family.
Chapter 2: The Fall of the Star Empire
    The Planewatcher family was once the ruling family of the Albus Kingdom. Known for hoarding the greatest of knowledge in its capital's grand library and the many crafting guilds. During the last years of the Star Empire, the last remaining family members collected its many secrets and manuals in preparation for the trail of sorrows.
    During the last days and weeks of the trail of sorrows, the family helped the many sick by abandoning vast tomes of knowledge in order to provide wagons to carry the weak. This allowed the family to gain the trust of the remaining refugees en route to the new lands of the north. But even the family lost many of its greatest scholars to famine and plague before arriving on the new shores of the north.
Chapter 3: Albatorium's Founding
    A year after the founding of Castra the holy tomb city, Albatorium broke ground. The Planewatcher family was placed in charge of founding the imperial libraries and the scholar's academies. Within ten years of founding the town had already created many towers and libraries in pursuit of magical and mundane knowledge. 
    By far the greatest symbol of the family's power is the Gleaming Tower that resides at the center of the town of Albatorium. Crafted by the first family members after the trail of sorrows and by its greatest craftsmen, the tower has stood watch over the planes of magic and the lands of the Northern Star Empire. Within the Gleaming tower is the High Oracle known to provide wisdom and knowledge of the near future.
