Logus Keel was the son of an oarsman by some tavern wench, and was by his father most of his life. His Father used all his earnings to buy Logus an apprenticeship to become a mate, and Logus is looking to repay that debt by ensuring that his progeny are captains and port-barons. Thus Logus found himself in the new world, looking for a way to make his own port city noble family though both honest, and dishonest means. He's known for his honor towards other commoners, and his hatred of the established noble class keeping their titles in the New world.
