General Physical Condition
Often fasts for days at a time and then over-eats when not fasting, which basically results in her being physically weak and overweight, until she's in The Church of Blades where she actively tries to be as fit as possible for the massacring of heretics.

Grew up in a gated community owned by The Servants of God and was subject to bullying throughout her childhood due to her unnatural origins:
Her parents only had 1 child for 7 years, which wasn't considered okay by the religion as couples were meant to have as many children as possible, but found that her mother was infertile. They secretly paid to use the egg of a woman nearly genetically identical to her mother and insert the embryo into said mother. When this was found out, the God's Left Hand (basically their pope) decreed that any form of unnatural child birth was unholy (whether or not it was allowed hadn't previously been addressed) but that Mela and her parents would be forgiven as the rule hadn't been made clear to them.
Despite this, there was plenty of bullying and ridicule for her unnatural birth and her only protection against this was Elmir Solovan, but couldn't rely on her as she wasn't always around. When she was 5, she was "planned" to marry a 6-year-old boy called Donathon (luckily, they couldn't legally be married until they were 15 (still quite young) but the CHG could put up with planned marriage), who was one of her biggest bullies and "don't wanna marry no Satan-baby"... they had a mutual agreement of hating one another.
Whilst at the Servants of God Summer School, she was separated from her sister and parents (the latter of which rarely did anything to help her anyway) and so was more easily brainwashed in her "special lessons" (in which she was taught separately from the other children) to hate herself and anyone else born unnaturally like her. In truth, this was because she was being groomed to become a priest of the religion as they wanted a token piece of "cleansed trash" to encourage more people to join the religion.
Thanks to this, when Elmir Solovan saved the lives of dozens of people by whacking a megamarket shooter over the head with a plastic container full of canned foods, Mela's fanaticism could be used to make it easier to turn her on her sister. This culminated in Elmir committing suicide.
Mela, against her parent's orders, was able to temporarily break through her brainwashing and call for CHG emergency medical services and Elmir was brought back to life with advanced drugs and defibrillation. Elmir was put into foster care, far away from the cult, after that - but Mela was left amidst a community that hated her for both being unnaturally born and saving her sister's life. Mela was 7 when this happened.
This, for some time, drove Mela further into extreme dedication to her religion, slowly earning (*coughs* going through utter mental agony for *coughs*) some love and respect from the community.
When the The Great Terrorist Organisation did its thing, stuff happened but Mela was sheltered from it, even being unaware that her sister was among the hostages of the GTO. Some time later, when the CHG was falling into chaos, the The Church of Blades terrorist organisation showed up like "yo dudes you gotta join our religion or die" and found herself joining weirdly easily and then becoming just as fanatic a Church of Blades member as any Servants of God member, even getting into the militaristic stuff.
