Personal history
Originally from Iraq, Nadeera was studying art in Morocco when her sire met her. He saw that beyond her chosen field of art history she was also a talented painter, and after a brief time as his ghoul she became his childe. He sent her to study in Chicago, where she still lives partly on her own dime but also on his patronage.

Nadeera el-Saladin is a practicing Muslim woman, though she has had to accommodate a few changes in her routine since her Embrace.
