The Camarilla

For hundreds of years the Camarilla has provided the first line of defense between the Kindred and the mortals who would destroy them. That defense is called The Masquerade.
Camarilla Princes rule cities, in concert with the Primogen who represent each of the six (once seven) great Clans that form its foundation. Camarilla Sheriffs enforce laws, Camarilla Harpies enforce social strictures, and Camarilla Keepers of Elysium defend the mutual meeting sites where Kindred can relax and be among their fellow monsters. Camarilla Scourges keep Camarilla cities clean of malcontents, ne'er-do-wells, and the constant advances of The Sabbat.

Demography and Population

The Camarilla contains members of the six Great Clans: The Brujah, the Malkavians, the Nosferatu, the Toreador, the Tremere, and the Ventrue.
At one time the Camarilla also contained the Gangrel Clan, though not after the events of the Gangrel Secession.
