The Ladysmith Emergency Committee was formed pre-Blacklight Event to help the town in the event of a break-down in municipal governmental authority.

Public Agenda

To ensure the continued survival of the people of Ladysmith. To make decisions pertaining to health, safety and martial concerns in the time after the occurence of the Blacklight Event.

History

The Ladysmith Emergency Committee was formed well before the Blacklight Event to serve the town's needs in case of an emergency. Despite the numerous contingencies and plans they had in place for numerous natural disasters rangings from tsunamis, earthquakes, and even a tongue-in-cheek plan for alien invasion, the Committee had never planned for an event in which they'd have to adapt for survival in an entirely other world. On July 8, 2022, mere hours after the Blacklight Event, the Emergency Committee joined for their first official meeting.
