Torotaua
Torotaua, known also as The Smoking Island, is a volcanic island located in the Outfair Ocean between Omath and Orela. It is home of the Blackspear Nation Oroka.
Geography
The Smoking Island is a smaller island, approximately 6.2 miles by 18.6 miles (10 km by 30 km). Torotaua's highest elevation is 1,280 feet at the eastern lip of the volcanic crater. The western and northern edges of the island are comprised of rocky cliffs jutting out of the ocean, but its south shore and east shore offer gentle lagoons and sea-level access via sandy beaches.
Heavy rainfall has carved deep ridges in the windward west face as well as each slope of the central volcano, creating multiple hundreds of scenic waterfalls during the rainy seasons.
Tourism
Due to its isolated location, Torotaua is rarely visited. Those who do visit tend to be merchants, pirates, and other seafarers resupplying freshwater stores and trading with the indigenous tribe for obsidian.
