Matriarch Nivara-Lolth
Nivara-Lolth was the Queen of the Kingdom of Clannlolth in 1A 5689, ruling over the Drow living directly under the Kingdom of Lysandus in the Underdark. During her reign, Clannlolth came under war with the Duergar.

History
Nivara was born under her matriarch mother, Vekyll-Lolth, in the year 1A 5598. Not much is known about her early life, besides being a middle child to her mother. The first born of her mother was a male, named Alges, but Vekyll-Lolth forced him into squire-hood instead of nobility. Nivara would then ascend to the "firstborn" rank, in front of her sisters. Vekyll-Lolth would die sometime in 5572, leaving Nivara to take upon the title of Matriarch and the living incarnation of Lolth. Now named Nivara-Lolth, the new Queen of the Drow immediately started to deal with disputes with the Duergar expanding into their territories. She ordered her people to aggressively fight back, killing any Duergar they saw and stealing their resources. This erupted into a full-on war. Evidently she also ordered the entrances to the Underdark sealed from any intruders. The only one left open led to Cemedri Magicus, which in 5689, she planned on sending a strike force to deal with.Mental characteristics
Morality & Philosophy
Being the new matriarch of the Drow, Nivara-Lolth believes herself to be the incarnation of the goddess Lolth as her mother once was. This leads her to believe what she says is complete divine will alone. Yet she views the divinity as a heavy burden. The "Matriarch" idea of Lolth, she thinks, is the representation of a mother, and all the Drow are her children. Thus, Nivara-Lolth rules with a heavy hand, more than eager to punish dissenters to teach the Drow discipline.
Her methods, however, are abusive and cruel. Often times she will exile Drow into the surface for breaking minor laws, and others are tortured by flogging or being bitten alive by hordes of spiders. She sees no issue with this; after all, the Drow are the true children of the Elven Mother, Lolth, and since she is the incarnation of Lolth she knows what is right.

History
When Lolth first protected the Drow, she picked the females of the tribe to be the leaders. The Matriarch chosen was believed to be the incarnation of Lolth. The latest Matriarch, Nivara-Lolth, has tried to be obedient to her goddess, but Lolth seems to dislike her service.
