Dominator Qenlynn Millerstone

Qenlynn Millerstone was a human draconic sorceress that led the Knights of Black Dragon during the reign of Mortimer II. She would transform into a red dragon to take over Lysandus, but was ultimately vanquished by the Dragonblazers.

History

Qenlynn Millerstone was born in the city of Miweck in the First Age 5635. From an early age, Qenlynn would learn that her father, a blacksmith named Alexander, had draconian blood to which he would display to her with fire breath. Fascinated by this, she decided that she would go to the Mage College, named Cemedri Magicus, near the city and learn how to control the powers she would one day develop. At the age of 16 she began experiencing fire breath and thus left her father's dwelling place and went to the college in 5651.
However, Qenlynn would prove to be an impatient student. She did not listen to her mentors, being more bent on her destructive spells and using them to display her ferocity. Eventually she honed her skills, making sure to keep some of them back, but she grew dissatisfied. She would leave the mage college at the age of 22 once she felt she had learned enough and wished to try it out for herself.

Knights of the Black Dragon

Wandering around Lysandus in 5657, she would find herself coming to the westernmost villages looking for opportunities to use her magical skill. This was when she found the Knights of Black Dragon, who were harassing the village of Ellex. Looking at their ferocity of battle, "like a dragon" she would think, she sought to join their ranks. Thus she became a Dragolok in their ranks.
Using this faction, she would trade magical secrets with the other wizards until they began to speculate her true agenda. In truth, Qenlynn was fascinated by dragons and wanted to become one. Then, her opportune moment came in 5678: the leader of the Black Dragons was killed. Qenlynn overpowered those who challenged to become next leader and was thus deemed Dominator.
She would prove to be a thorn in the side of Lysandus' authorities in the years to come. In a small scrap, she ended up stealing the Sword of Tiamat that was under careful watch by a Mage Guild in Brymoor in 5683. She began to claim to the Knights of Black Dragon that they were Tiamat's anointed ones, to destroy the Kingdom of Lysandus and rebuild it under draconian rule, as it "always should have been". She started to mutate at this point, growing scales across her face and her hands turning into dragon claws. In 5689, she would establish an alias, named "Grace", with a magic shop called Grace's Wonders in Silver Town.

Will of the Dragonlords

In April to May of 5689, Qenlynn began to mobilize her Black Dragon knights in the forests of Caleah with her officer, Sir Edward Wallington, in charge of the troops. As he plotted to destroy a wedding between Prince Adran Oncett and Lady Joyce Foswell, she schemed on her own. Then, a party of adventurers traced Sir Edward back to Urshlon Tower. Sir Edward, fearful for his life, called upon Lady Qenlynn to help him. Thus, Qenlynn blasted the party of adventurers with a non-lethal fireball, to keep them away. Eventually, Sir Edward would engage in battle with the adventurers, and she made her escape through a portal.
The portal led her to Grace's Wonders, where she quickly disguised herself as "Grace" just in time. The party of adventurers showed up on the portal as well. To distract them, she started to appraise their new magic items and overpriced them. The adventurers left, annoyed by her outrageous reasoning. She would escape the next day as the adventurers returned to ransack and burn Grace's Wonders.
Evidently, Qenlynn's plotting became a background affair, as she began to order the Knights of Black Dragon to start researching the ritual she desired. She traveled into the Underdark, helping the Duergar with their schemes to acquire Soul Sand, and tried to use a clay golem there to kill the party. She then sent out her warmage, Charles Sherwood, to begin an assault on Kirkwall and ordered the Black Knights to secretly occupy the city of Keller's Coast. She also allied with the Danen in the promise she would give them control over the countryside of Keller.

As the new-found Dragonblazers, the annoying adventurers who kept foiling her plans, went to liberate Kirkwall and Keller's Coast, Qenlynn completed the ritual to become a dragon by bathing in the blood of a true dragon mixed with Duergar soul sand. She thus turned into a horrifying red dragon. She and the Black Knights then went to take over Amagus Tower, giving an edge to the Danen troops who were trying to take over the north of Lysandus. However, she would meet her end at the hands of the Dragonblazers, who stormed Amagus Tower. Wulfric Dragonbane and Gilliam Maydestone, with their enchanted swords, managed to slay the transformed Qenlynn, punishing her for her crazed plot.

Currently, Qenlynn has been undergoing rapid bodily changes since she continued to manipulate the magical world by accessing her draconian bloodline. Scales have grown across her skin while her eyes have mutated into those belonging to a lizard. Not that she cares.

Qenlynn was educated at the Cemedri Magicus Mage School, where she learned to control her destructive powers and hone them for her own purposes. She graduated as a practicing sorcerer but did not become a master due to her impatience.

Motivation

Ever since Qenlynn learned she is a descendant of dragons, she has aspired to become one. Her studying of dragons at Cemedri Magicus made her envy their power and appearance. It has gotten to the point where she resents seeing a human face staring at her in the mirror. She loves her developed scales and has such continued to pervert her physical form to look more and more like a dragon.
With the discovery of the Dragonscale Stone, she believes she comes ever closer to achieving this goal of becoming a dragon. Once she does become a dragon? She wishes to destroy the crown of Lysandus and turn it over to the dragons, "like it should have always been".
