Sir Galafred
Sir Galafred Wagner was an Danen Knight and ally to the Dragonblazers in 5689. He would serve as a proxy adviser to Lord Slytoff Han of Feller's Rock.
History
Galafred Wagner was born in the small village of Zenerdorf in Danen, having humble origins. What wasn't humble was his blood: his mother had draconic ancestry. Though this brought fear into the eyes of his peers, Galafred remained true to heart and sought to become a squire. He would be knighted at the age of 16, and became a protector of his village. Will of the Dragonlords
Evidently, by the time he was 22, he was aware of Danen's taking of Orwood and Obesfeld, but he was thankfully too young for the Gothai Crusade. The war bothered him, and he, like his peer Seldwig Lightfoot, grew enticed by the new insurgency group called the Knights of Black Dragon. The Black Dragons promised to bring back draconic rule and save humans from corrupt government. However, Galafred would eventually learn their deception, and denounced their order. Unfortunately for Galafred, Seldwig informed the Black Knights of his peer's draconic ancestry. It interested Qenlynn Millerstone, who needed subjects to experiment on. She sent Galafred an anonymous letter for him to arrive in Feller's Rock, Lysandus. Galafred traveled there and arrived by May 10th of 5689, and would be kidnapped by Kilroy Mancer and some of the knights. Galafred was lead into a Kobold-infested mine by the 12th, and was drowned in a pool of Kobold blood mixed with moonstone. The ritual transformed him into a Half-Dragon.Galafred would be turned into something similar to this, cursed with draconic scales and strength and losing some of his humanity.
Hours later, Galafred would awaken to hear fighting within the main hall of the mines. Covered in blood, he approached the door, until it was unlocked and opened by Kilroy Mancer. The party of invaders, wearing tabards with south stars, at first feared him. Galafred killed Kilroy Mancer out of revenge, and would be attacked by Tequila Cambow. However, the misunderstanding ended once Galafred surrendered. He explained to the party that he was transformed by the "pagan ritual" and wished to return to his former self, or he'd kill himself. He gave the party his Horn of the Danen to keep contact with them. The party promised to find him a cure, and as such Galafred waited, protecting the mines from any other invaders. Hours later, the party returned with the wizard Warder Payne, who cured him. Galafred thanked the party with his life.
Evidently, the wizard Slytoff Han would use his new position as the court adviser of Feller's Rock to instill Galafred as a proxy, to give Lord Wickam of Fellers' Rock any information on Danen tactics. Galafred swore allegiance to Lysandus and undertook his new job.
Post Dragon Crisis
Sir Galafred renounced his Danen heritage, instead serving as a loyal knight to Lysandus. He continued to be an advisor to Slytoff Han in Feller’s Rock, and eventually became the Captain of the Guard. Eventually he would ally with Hilda Snowladen and Hamill the Sorcerer to hunt down and prosecute the remaining Black Knights in Lisanrik. This goal was accomplished in 5700, the start of the century, where peace was finally restored to Lysandus. He would then marry Hilda Snowladen, having six children with her. Their children, in order, was: a son named George, her daughter Teressa and son Brunwulf (fraternal twins), a son named Eadhed, a daughter named Hilda, and a last son named Eanulf. They settled in the city of Orwood. He became distant from his wife, unfortunately, as he travelled much to Feller’s Rock to be in Slytoff’s place as he travelled the world. He swore an oath and would fulfill it until the end of his days. Eventually, when he became old, he rekindled his marriage with Hilda. They would both die the same year, 5748, in happy matrimony.
