Firelands

The Firelands was a region of the Underdark located beneath the jungles of Chult.

Geography

The Firelands were located beneath the jungles of Chult. Lava tubes to the Peaks of Flame provided connections to the surface.

Description

The Firelands were full of lava tubes and other volcanic features. In the center of the Firelands was the Burning Rift, which contained innumerable portals to the Elemental Plane of Fire.

Inhabitants

The Firelands were home to azer, flamesnakes, magmins, and salamanders that had migrated from the Plane of Fire through portals.
