Dwarves
The Dwarven society of Cinder is confined to large fortresses and underground halls in the Shattered Peaks. Very few Dwarves leave their homes, for what treasure could lie in the outside world that could not be found in the dwarven halls? Dwarven hearts in the current age are gripped by greed, a new sickness turning dwarf against dwarf in a scrabble for gold and gems.
Dwarven Themes
- Greed. Dwarves experience an almost mythological level of greed. When they lay their eyes upon something they desire, they must have it, at any cost. To play a dwarf is to embrace these tendencies, or to struggle against them.
- Pride. To damage a dwarfs pride is to wish death upon oneself, as pride is a dwarfs greatest possession. To play a dwarf is to accept that your pride will often influence the situations around you, often negatively.
- Simplicity. Dwarves have little to no interest in the comings and goings of the people outside their mountain homes, and find little need to experience new things.
- Comradery. Dwarves possess a familial bond shared by few others in Cinder, protecting those cherished few with an unrepentant ferocity.
