Major Armstrong
Major Alex Louise Armstrong (a.k.a. The Strong-Arm Alchemist)
Major Alex Louise Armstrong is a State Alchemist known as the Strong-Arm Alchemist. He specializes in Stone and Metal Transmutations and has a plethora of "Armstrong Family Techniques" that have been passed down to the Armstrong Alchemists. To assist with his alchemy in combat, he carries a pair of metal pseudo-gauntlets that have spikes on the front and his transmutation circles on the back.
Alex is prone to tear off his coat and shirt to show off his impressive musculature. Whenever this happens, there is an inexplicable sparkle or shower of flowers or petals. He has great respect for anyone that has muscles resembling his.
In addition to shirtlessness, Alex has been known to easily begin to cry when presented with emotional news. In these cases, he is known to embrace the affected party while extolling their virtues or his sympathy for them. Due to his incredible strength, it is extremely difficult to break from his grip in these circumstances.
One of his favorite techniques, both in combat and out, is to change objects into replicas of his face or statues of his shirtless body. He has even been known to do this to opponent's weapons to render them less effective and slightly disturbing to the wielder.
