This timeline is a general overview of the several Eras of Ciphrus history, starting from the first Human colonies, to the modern New World age. The history of Ciphrus is categorized into different Millennia. The most recent being the 12th Millennia.

The Tagonic Cascade was a series of events which fundamentally altered the geography of Ciphrus forever, changing the chemistry of the biosphere and enacting widespread destruction across the planet. The result was ecological collapse, sociopolitical strife, and a subsequent reconstruction period.
After the Tagonic Cascade, an era of reconstruction succeeded in which tribes and city states were reformed in the ashes of the previous world. The results of the Tagonic Cascade were widespread technological primitivism, both involuntary and endorsed in ideology. Eventually, new nations formed.
The Foundation of the Xiqen Empire, ruled by the Xiqen Dynasty initially, was a major turning point in the history of Ciphrus following the Tagonic Cascade. For the first time since before the Cascade, Ciphrus saw a large superpower begin to dominate and encompass nearly the entire globe, wreaking cultural and political change for centuries to come.
The global domination of the Xiqen Empire was unlike anything seen before. For the first time in recorded Ciphrus history, a single political entity controlled a vast majority of the planet, spanning from Tornia to the jungles of Vai. Their dominion was far and wide, and had deep impacts in the cultural significance of these regions.
After becoming a bloated and wide-ruling empire, the Xiqen Dynasty eventually collapsed, forming several city-states and widespread disorder as different powers attempted to fill the vacuum that succeeded a dying empire.
A bloated empire, the Xiqen Dynasty eventually succumbed to its sphere of influence, and imploded, causing widespread destruction and sociopolitical strife.
The founding of the Tornun Republic, a democratic republic based on principles of personal liberty and free capitalist exchange, quickly formed after its predecessor, the Xiqen Empire. This new flag, based on the promise of personal enterprise and free liberty, quickly gained traction in Tornia after seceding from the strife of the Vai continent
Rhetoric based around different theories as to why the Xiqen Empire failed, combined with continuous propaganda by different powers over the years enabled a large cultural shift centered around the identity of the self, and their origin. Soon, ideologies surrounding the idolization of one's own birthplace and family accord were enforced as a means of organizing oneself from foreign entities, and racial tension was both introduced and enacted as law under some nations, including Tornun.
A series of advancements in Tagon and in classical machinery enabled a global rise in technological revelry, as countries began to embrace a more industrious side of their economy, eventually building large factories, Tagonic assembly lines, and other forms of technology designed to increase efficiency in production.
Much like its predecessor, the Tornun Republic eventually spread amongst the land to build global influence and dominate as a widespread superpower. Combined with perhaps the most destructive militaristic power in Ciphrus history, as well as hidden political influence over its allies and rivals, the Tornun Republic managed to dominate and exploit the vast majority of the planet, with rhetoric of free enterprise within its own citizenship.
After witnessing a wide, celestial spectacle in the sky, the entire planet of Ciphrus succumbed to a deadly disease as a result, leading to the subsequent collapse of most civilizations on the planet, including the Tornun Empire. This pandemic event is known as Zero Day.
After the collapse of a great many nations, as well as over 60% of the world population falling ill and succumbing to a newfound disease, the world was forced into an era of reconstruction once again.
