Kokonoe Mercury

Kokonoe Mercury is a scientist in Sector 7 and is the daughter of two of the six heroes, Jubei and Konoe A. Mercury/Nine. She is a half-human and half-beastkin from her father's side and it's not a good idea to brooch the subject of Jubei because their relationship is complicated. Though she holds a lot of potential in magic, with one spell she inherited from her mother called "Infinite Gravity", which can immobilize the Black Beast, she focuses on engineering and science, as seen when she fights with various equipment seen in the games Chronophantasma Extend, and Centralfiction. It goes without saying however she is also a genius. Kokonoe is pragmatic, cranky, and foul-mouthed and relies on rationality and logic then be run by emotion. Spite that quality she also has a level of empathy shown in her actions in hindsight. She knows of the repetition of the BlazBlue world and has theories regarding other mysteries. Kokonoe doesn't have the best luck with students and makes it clear if she sees one of them. The half-beastkin has a crippling sweet tooth and can always be seen with a Silvervine candy in her mouth and likes a good cup of coffee. In the case of Tager the Red Devil, she has tampered with dead bodies to make them automatons and created Lambda 11 from a random Murokumo unit.
She also has Nuclear missles as a last resort if it comes to dealing with the Black Beast or Hazama... Lore: Kokonoe will build a subsext laboratory in Rollingsberg and have Tager and Lambda be her agents for gathering intel. She will look after Crona, and on the side, be a teacher for some in an online class. Kokonoe will also have connections with the mayor, Henry Rollins, the owner of Honey Pot, Pooh, and the blank-face hero, Ben. [be] Both Kokonoe Mercury and Lambda appear in the CJM verse, and to them, it's as if a small earthquake happened and after they regained their bearings, everyone was gone. Kokonoe quickly tries to get her bearings by scanning systems and checking for personnel. It doesn't take long for her to realize, many of the systems are damaged, all the personnel but Lambda are gone, and they're not where they are supposed to be, in space, time, or reality. Short on options, Kokonoe sends Lambda out to scout the area, on the condition that their teleportation technology still seems to function and she'll move her out of harm's way if it comes to that.
