Kurama

Yoko Kurama or Kurama as he goes by is a unique existence. A being of a powerful spirit fox, he was an infamous thief that lived for a challenge and used his superior intelligence to manipulate anyone under his care until one day a spirit hunter shot at him and severely wounded him. In order to survive, Yoko went to the human world and entered the body of a woman who wound up pregnant, and his spirit fused with the human. In time the baby was born Shuichi Minamino. Growing up Yoko/Shuichi discovered human feelings and gained compassion and empathy for those around him, especially his mother. This in turn changed Yoko's fate for the better. One day when he was 15 his mother wound up with a disease and decided that he would steal 3 sacred treasures from the spirit world with two other demons, one being Hiei and another some random thug named Gouki. Kurama took the mirror while the other two had the sword and some orb. Spirit detective Yusuke beat Gouki and went to get the mirror and Kurama told him his story this in turn aided in the mirror not sacrificing a soul to save another this time and the redhead became a companion. Kurama goes by this name over his human name and only his family or classmates call him this. Kurama is a genius, crafty and witty. His main power is manipulating plants with his demon energy and his patent weapon he mainly uses is "Rose Whip" to devastating effect. Even Hiei is wary of getting into a fight with Kurama due to his cutthroat nature. He gets along with everyone and is a pretty boy that has many admirers. Lore: Being summoned to this world, Kurama takes a more cautious approach compared to his othe companions. He is willing to help whatever party he's in and with his intellect, calm nature, and power is one to have. General battle quote
