Hi, my name is Arlea Hawkins. I'm 15 years old and I live in Hobart, Tasmania with my mom, Araminta. I'm an adventurous spirit and I love to explore new things. I'm also really passionate about learning and expanding my knowledge about the world around me.
My mum's work as a soil scientist has definitely rubbed off on me, and I love spending time outdoors and learning about plants and animals. My favourite place to explore is the Wild Island Nursery, where I get to see all sorts of amazing plants and flowers from around the world. One day, I hope to travel to different parts of the world and see even more amazing flora and fauna.
In addition to my love for nature, I'm also a bit of a bookworm. I'm always reading something, whether it's a classic novel or the latest science fiction thriller. My thirst for knowledge extends beyond just books though; I'm also really interested in science and technology, and I love tinkering with gadgets and trying to figure out how they work.
Despite my love for adventure and learning, I'm also very close to my family. My mum and I have a special bond, and we love to spend time together gardening or cooking up new recipes. I also have a great relationship with my stepdad, Greg, and my little half-sister, Lila.
I'm excited to see where my thirst for knowledge and love of adventure take me in the future, but for now, I'm just enjoying being a teenager and soaking up all the amazing experiences that life has to offer.
