Jasmine Collins
Jasmine Collins- Dallow
I remember it like it was yesterday, the flashing red and blue lights, the strange voices, the pit in my stomach, and while some of the detail has since faded, my determined resolve to allow my sister to rest is as strong today as it ever was.
Hi, my name is Jasmine. Born and raised in the small, Australian outback town of Broken Hill, it's hard to imagine that I was once a scrawny, country girl, looking at me now, living in the penthouse apartment in one of our boutique hotels in London.
After my older sister's murder my family couldn't bring themselves to leave that dusty place. Wanting to protect me, my parents sent me to a private girls boarding school in Adelaide. I made friends easily and developed a taste for the finer things life has to offer.
While studying a Business degree at the University of Adelaide, I did something great that gave me instant cash to invest in my first hotel in Adelaide. Since then, I've met and married the love of my life, Bradley, and together we have grown the business into a profitable, successful, enterprise with multiple hotels across Australia and the UK. Bradley and I met while I was visiting London on an auction trip. Bidding against each other on some one-of-a-kind, antique furniture, my curiosity for the handsome man outpaced my frustration that he had outbid me, and we found ourselves dining together that evening. The rest, as they say, is history.
Violet used to say to me, "Jaz, one day you'll be free of this shit-hole. Make us proud." And I feel like I've done my sister proud. Yet, even with all the success and wonderful distractions, I never lost sight on my sister's unsolved case.
Call it fate, if you will, two faces from my past reached out and showed me some startling information that would change everything and set me on the killer's path.
