Codename: Genesis
CODENAME:Genesis is a containment program, which was launched by the government of Seydlar as a last attempt to save humanity from extinction against an unstoppable mutant infection, the Parasite Virus. The organization, led by Director Z, originally a confidential military intelligence branch, is now a modified division specifically equipped to bring a halt to the ongoing pandemic.
"It all happened so fast. First, it was an explosion, a loud crash, fire broke loose, chaos ensues. Some started to scream and run, naturally, others, who were foolishly brave, marched towards the burning building. And all those who went into the gaping maws of fire did in fact return, oh yes. Not only did they return, but they returned with the others. At first, everyone cheered for the heroes, they come running towards the crowd outside. The first survivor arrived, in front of a child, holding her dear teddy bear. That smile would soon fade, when she realized that person in front of her, of charred skin and ember eyes, started to crawl and gnaw on her leg. Yes, a chunk of flesh from her leg. The mother quickly pulled her away, and the screaming started once again. But those screams were short, muffled, and faded quickly. I felt time stop for a moment, pure fear and panic filling up everyone's minds. Everyone started to run, and so did I. I ran as fast as I could, but so did... they. I hadn't dared to look back, but all I knew was to not stop. You could hear their growls and screams, see flesh and blood trailing behind them. They jumped onto cars, latched onto walls, and when they've caught their prey, they started... feasting on them, humans eating humans. Cannibals broke out from that godforsaken lab, we'd say, all those experiments they must've been conducting. But not a single ounce of humanity could be found in those creatures, running loose with torn limbs, drooping eyeballs, hanging organs, they shouldn't be even alive anymore!
