Welcome to the Codename: Genesis program. More than half of the human population has succumbed to the virus, and the world has capitulated into chaos. Humankind's last resort into saving the world ultimately led to the creation of this project. Director Z, current assigned chief of the project, sent out combatants to search for special individuals who have relevant significance with the origin of this unstoppable virus.

It's been about 2 months since the outbreak. Most of the story takes place in the country Seydlar from the perspective of the faction Genesis, most specifically from the Strategists. The world is almost completely destroyed, and with almost nothing left to work on, the Genesis has to build their way from the ground up, using only the resources they have.

But the Genesis isn't alone. Other factions and organizations have sprung up as well, each competing for basic resources, habitats, and trying to seize as many supplies as they could. It is survival of the fittest, after all. But some are actively sabotaging the project, and if it hinders the faction's objectives, they must be prevented at all cost.

Deceitfulness

Everyone can agree that the downfall can be pinpointed exactly when the laboratory in Trieva exploded. While this is true, there are heaps of dark secrets that contributed to the disaster, especially within the Seydlar administration. The public eventually caught on their lies, which only encouraged more chaos and turmoil in the country, ultimately causing the downfall and further spread of the virus in neighboring countries.

Intertwined Fate

Underneath all of the tumultuous tragedy, every action made seem to have impacted the current circumstances, ranging from small conversations to political decisions. The Genesis is tasked to create a detailed record and manage a timeline to trace back the origin of the catastrophe.

Important Themes

Survival of Humankind
Every second and every decision counts. Survival is a central theme of Genesis, and is emphasized throughout the entire story. Though not only is it between humans and its ravaging creatures, but the never-ending rivalry within the human society is highlighted as well.
Strategic Planning
From base-building to combat mode, each faction is faced with constant challenged in which they must overcome. With careful planning and thoughtful reasoning, the world might be restored, with simple steps at at time.
Unraveling Mysteries
It all seemed too simple on the surface, but digging more deeper might get some stuck in the burrow they've dug.
