Humans become Terran

The shift from planet based civilisation to one that now lived in the stars they once looked up at, saw a shift within society. The shift was in what they called themselves, they were still all human, but they started to also identify with or felt a need to keep a connection to what the price and cost was behind their shift to the stars. The loss of Earth as a place to live, it was protect and used as a teaching aid, in making sure that didn't fall into simular trap or destroy another world due lack of foresight or care.

The shift, to calling themselves collectively as Terran, was slowly and one that was not prompted by any governing body, but by the people themselves. It spread, their basic language shifted from English to Terran. This was again governing body adapting to the changes within society. It took with little resistance, as the English was now more on Ethnicity rather than a people. Though they had blood ties, Family groups, it was where their ancestor came from on Earth that gave them roots or another tie back. Those from the countries on Earth, worked to keep their traditions, their cultures alive, remembered in the next generation. Records were the upmost importance to the people. They never wanted to loose that, it would further cut them from their roots.
