Aerilon
Defences
The City is protected by high and thick stone walls that cover the entirety of the city's perimeter. The walls are close to 30ft tall and 15ft thick. There are several large square towers placed throughout the wall armed with ballista and embrasures for archers to let volleys loose from. The district of Nightreach has a smaller wall that separates it from the city proper, this wall is 15ft tall and 8ft thick.
Districts
Kingsville: The upper-class district of Aerilon, Kingsville is home to many artists, merchants and lesser nobles. Much of Kingsville is devoted to high-end shops, exotic traders and guildhalls. The district is the cleanest and most luxurious part of the city, it often is where most travelers aim to spend their time in Aerilon at. There are several fancy restaurants and taverns; the most prominent of these are The King's Men, the Dancing Dragon and the Regal Lion Inn.
The district also is home to the Aerilon Guard, a subdivision of the Falradian Army serving as a police force that keeps law and order within the confines of the city and its surrounding villages and towns. Seen by many as brutal steel-clad bullies that push around the dregs of the city and call it law. However the Aerilon Guard is an instrumental part of protection for the City and the nearby towns and villages. In addition to the Aerilon Guard the district also hosts the military academy for the Field Army of Aerilon, however most of the army is often afield, soldiers on leave or in training are often found in the district.
The ruling house of the District is the Greywind Family who have taken up the role of Stewards after House Danver's ascension to Royalty.
Bayside: The dock district of Aerilon, Bayside is the only place to land in the city by sea, it sees many vessels into it's docks daily ranging from long-ships bearing Umbrian mercenaries to Edenite Galleons bringing wine, art and master crafted weapons. It is considered to be a rather rough and tumble place due to the attitudes of the sailors and mercenaries that frequent the district. The district is often filled with colorful figures who have travelled to the city by sea or have travelled to the docks seeking passage elsewhere. The ruling house of the District is the Rochemoux Family who were a disgraced Edenite Noble Family now the overseers of Bayside with their large shipping company, Valiant Shipping & Logistics.
Elkhearth: The middle-class district of Aerilon, Elkhearth is the industrial heart of Aerilon, the district is mostly made up of many dozens of workshops and factories. Many people from Bridgefall find work in Elkhearth as Laborers making anything ranging from wheels to clothing. It also hosts several working class styled taverns such as the Forger's Rest and the Winking Pig. Crime is moderate in the district and it is not uncommon to see workers from rival companies get into brawls and at times even killing one and other. Closest to the docks is a small part of the district called the Red Light Quarter which is home to more hedonistic entertainments such as gambling clubs and brothels. The two ruling houses of the District are the Lockwater Family and the Gallosmith Family, both owning rivaling businesses; the two families have been locked in a cold feud for generations.
Bridgefall: The low-class district of Aerilon, Bridgefall is considered by many to be a slum, where the destitute and dregs of the city live, the district is wracked with crime and poverty. Gang warfare is common in the winding streets of the district as is illicit drug abuse. Over the recent years a substance called Myth has been plaguing the streets causing an increase in drug fueled crime and violence. The district is commonly raided by the Aerilon Guard with the goal of cracking down on crime in the district and many of those imprisoned are sentenced to indentured military servitude in the Falradian Army. Besides crime, many in Bridgefall work long shifts in the workshops of Elkhearth as cheap labor. The ruling house of the District is the Bridgeguard Family, assigned as overseers over the district they are known for their stern demeanors and cold hearts, they often command the raids of the Aerilon Guard in the district. However true control of the district lies in the gangs, the most prominent of which are the ruthless and cunning Growlers and the hopeful and inspiring Firebrands.
Nightreach: A peculiar district of Aerilon, Nightreach has long since held some sort of darkness. Even in the days of the Falradian Empire and the first Imperial Colonists, dark things have lurked in the shadows of Nightreach. Over many years a wall had been built around the district, isolating it from the rest of Aerilon. Few sane people live there, often the shunned and outcasts of society or people looking to disappear live in the district. It is said the shadows themselves are alive in Nightreach and rumors of ghastly horror ranging from wraiths to vampires to werewolves. Disappearances are common and it is advised to none travels alone through the district, despite extensive efforts by the Aerilon Guard and the Falradian Army the district seemingly can never be truly purged of it's darkness, the district includes the cemeteries and tombs that lay beyond the city's walls. The ruling house of the district are the famous Dawn Family, storied monster hunters the Dawn family are protectors of Nightreach doing their best to keep human casualties to a minimum and to keep the dark things in the shadows where they belong.
Stargate: The outermost district of Aerilon, Stargate is the newest addition to the city being the only part of the city fully built by the Falradians. The district is home to retired veterans of the Falradian army who are given comfortable housing and are paid monthly a sum of gold. The district has two taverns, the Old Dog and the Icy Glare. It also has a small and quaint market. The veterans do not often work but those who are restless sometimes take up mercenary jobs or some of the older veterans are called in to act as trainers for the newer soldiers of the Falradian Army or Aerilon Guard. There is no ruling house over the district, instead the veterans all gather together in a tavern, usually the Old Dog and choose one among them to run the district for the month.

Architecture
The architecture of Aerilon is elven in nature much like the other great cities of the North. Though most of the city has been rebuilt by the Falradians and thus carries their austerity style of simple grey and white stone. The Old Road runs through the Stargate to the west and then out towards Therik through the eastern gate of Nightreach.
Bridgefalls was once believed to have had a large bridge built over the city that connected the Emerald Keep to another location to the northwest of the City. Scholars and Explorers have searched and have found no likely candidate for a location that the bridge might have led to but fragments of stone work similar to the rubble found in Aerilon when the Falradians first arrived suggests the bridge ran nearly 21 miles long leading somewhere into the King's Wood Forest.
The Emerald Keep itself is built of a green-grey stone and is styled much like the Elven palaces of old, however in many spots such as the throne room the more human influence of the Falradians shines through.
Geography
The city is built on rather flat grasslands however the Emerald Keep and parts of Kingsville are built on a hill overlooking the city. The surrounding area is mostly similar flat grasslands however close to the city and around the town of Steeltown are the Stormsword Downs. Named for the Old Royal Family of Aerilon and then Falradia. Beyond the hills to the north and east lie the King's Wood Forest, a dense forest home to much game for hunters as well as more dangerous things.
Natural Resources
Aerilon is located along the Storm Coast and as such has access to large amounts of seafood and animal products such as seal fur and whale oil. There are a few farms around the city but most of its produce comes from the fishers and farms elsewhere in the Kingdom.
