The Great Lord of the Zebra Clan, Hena Hatem was the eldest child of Great Lord Harb Hatem. When her father died of old age, she took over the Clan as the heir. She is renowned amongst the court for her beauty but despite this remains unmarried, she had a single son with an unknown father but seems uninterested by idea of marriage.
Unlike her father Hena is much more active in the Imperial Court as well as seeming to hold none of her Clan's usual pacifistic tendencies reforming her Clan's army into an actual force. She seems to hold a close friendship with the young Great Lord Kadir Sinai, this causes the murmuring rumors that he is the father of her sole child but there seems to be no actual proof of this.
She was a leader in the Addax and Zebra Warhost led by the young and skilled Great Lord Kadir Sinai during the Third War of Thoroughfare
