Great Lord Malik Avakian (Ava-kia-n)
The Great Lord of the Fox Clan, Malik Avakian was the only son of Great Lord Zareb Avakian. When his father died during the Second War of Thoroughfare his grandmother Ahlam took over the Clan as Malik was too young to lead.
His grandmother would be the one to establish the Fox Clan's formidable spy network throughout the Imperial Court, gaining much sway and teaching Malik how to read people. She would lead the Clan for ten years until Malik was twenty, she would help him during his first few months at court but the young Great Lord showed an aptitude for maneuvering the Imperial Court.
He married a rich merchant's daughter named Sariba and would eventually have a child with her named Gacia who many would start to say was Ahlam reborn as the young girl showed much the same skill at manipulation and politics that her grandmother had.
After initially refusing to fight the Archduchy of Thoroughfare for religous reason he would soon commit his forces and would go on to become a leader in the main Duramic Host led by the expert and ruthless General Basara during the Third War of Thoroughfare
