Personal history

Isaac Baley was born in 2010 in London. His father was a military scientist who had a love for science that he passed onto his son. Baley followed his strong interest in science - attaining a degree in physics from the University of Cambridge. He continued his studies to gain a doctorate, and went on to conduct research at the university - becoming a well known physicist for his work on quantum physics.   In 2039, Dr Baley was brought onto the Einstein-Rosen Project - an attempt to create a working wormhole generator with the newly discovered element Eltrium. The project continued for many years, and after hundreds of failed attempts - the device worked for the first time in 2052.   On the device's first successful test, the containment rings broke. The wormhole began to swell to an extraordinary size, enough to allow the Keln Empire's military through to Earth. Baley barely escaped from the testing facility, and quickly met up with Jacob Lambert - the man who would go on to become the leader of the Resistance.   Baley spent the next few years as one of the resistance's top scientists, engineering weapons to help fight the Keln. However, he was eventually seduced by the Keln Empire, who sought him out to help them work with Earth technology. They promised him a life of comfort and freedom in exchange for his help, he accepted.   His first project was to augment humans into becoming soldiers for the Keln, intending to brainwash them and cybernetically augment them to be far stronger than average humans. He tricked a large group of volunteers, ranging from children to the elderly, into becoming test subjects - telling them it was for medicinal research for the Resistance. The project was a failure, with only 100 of the 1,000 test subjects remaining. Baley was later tracked down by a group of cyborgs, who murdered him for his actions.
