Basic Information

Anatomy

High Orcs had two arms, two legs, and a head located atop their torso. They had a unique anatomy that was so hyper-advanced and sophisticated that it could evolve and adapt to new conditions it came into contact with in a matter of seconds rather than millennia, letting them survive raging infernos as their skin hardened and became flameproof, let them adapt to ice, acid, or even to magic effects...thanks to this, they had a highly sophisticated skeletal system and musculature that was constantly hardening and softening depending on the scenario they were in at the moment.

Biological Traits

They had a unique anatomy that was so hyper-advanced and sophisticated that it could evolve and adapt to new conditions it came into contact with in a matter of seconds rather than millennia, letting them survive raging infernos as their skin hardened and became flameproof, let them adapt to ice, acid, or even to magic effects...thanks to this, they had a highly sophisticated skeletal system and musculature that was constantly hardening and softening depending on the scenario they were in at the moment.   Their hair often grew out very long, and they enjoyed growing it out as well as growing their facial hair. They were overall highly hairy beings, but often groomed themselves to maintain a good public image.   Their skin was overall green, but could notably shift and adapt to any color in existence depending on their mood, their environment, or a countless number of other variables.

Genetics and Reproduction

High Orcs mainly reproduced through sexual reproduction through the coupling of man and female, whereupon a child would be produced and carried within the mother for many months before it was born.

Growth Rate & Stages

High Orcs grew at a rate comparable to normal humans, and by age 18 or 20 they were considered adults by their people, though could sometimes prove themselves earlier if they were gifted. From adulthood they soon grew into middle age around age 40, and began to grow older and finally passed away around 80-90 years of age. As they grew older, they often became increasingly sedentary and enjoyed settling down from their often exciting lives, though plenty among them took to traveling and wandering the land in their old age, doing what they could not when they were younger due to jobs and work.

Ecology and Habitats

Thanks to their bodies' hyper-advanced adaptability, High Orcs had no trouble surviving in even the harshest of climates but often preferred normal and open environments if such places where available to them. When they would settle in an area, High Orcs would generally greatly industrialize the area and began to mine it for resources with great drills and factories to power and fuel their advanced cities and way of life. As such, they could frequently deforest, depopulate, and completely drain the places they settled of resources, though they often made efforts to avoid doing so, especially as they developed as a people.   This somewhat put them at odds with those who revered nature and the natural world such as druids, rangers, or even the neutral and warden-like High Dwarves, who often saw them as a burden upon the natural world and as beasts who ravenously consumed all they come upon.

Dietary Needs and Habits

High Orcs were omnivores through and through, and could eat anything ranging from plants, grass, to meat and fish and other animals or beasts. They often enjoyed preparing their food in various ways to increase the flavor and appeal of what they ate such as cooking it, seasoning it, or other methods, and took great pride in being chefs or other preparers of food.

Biological Cycle

As High Orcs age, their skin began to take on paler shades of green and often developed odd textures, such as scales or leather or other such consistencies that were a sign of their bodies adaptability going haywire in its old age. Their hair often greyed and whitened, and often fell out and left them looker older and more withered. Their skin, however, never wrinkled or sagged...even after they had died.

Social Structure

High Orcish society was mostly a meritocracy. No particular High Orcs were more worthy or higher ranked than their kin for minor or cosmetic things or even for things such as wages, wealth, or personal power. Though money played a large role in their society and how they were viewed, any High Orc could better themselves and their standing in the social structure through hard work and effort.   Their civilization was organized into several systems that handled the day to day, with the monarchy and the queen or king assuming total control of the government and all other aspects of society while the House of the Middle was the main legislative body within the government, scrutinizing and creating new bills and laws as the need arose to keep the power of the ruling monarch in check when such a need for it arose. There were many dozen minor offices contained beneath these two great ruling bodies that handled more minute details within the empire such as mailing, currency, police, and so on.   The last part of the High Orcish political landscape was a vast and intricate multi-party political system where two(sometimes more) political parties held power at any given time within the House of the Middle, with countless politicians and representatives vying for power for their own parties...each party platformed and campaigned on a certain belief system or promise to focus on and pass certain bills or policies(Such as a party campaigning on a promise of better regulation and transparency of armies and soldiers).

Facial characteristics

High Orcish bone structure, hair color and texture, eye color, and a host of facial and bodily phenotypic characteristics vary immensely from one locale to another. Cheekbones may be high or broad, noses aquiline or flat, and lips full or thin; eyes range wildly in hue, some deep set in their sockets, and others with full epicanthic folds.

Average Intelligence

High Orcs were possessed of an average intelligence that left them capable of higher thought and even genius, but lacked the immense wisdom of High Dwarves or the bottomless intelligence of the High Humans. With effort and training, they could grow very wise or intelligent but such things required effort. It was, perhaps, this averageness that drove them to such burning desire to expand and grow, so that they might match their more naturally great allies.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

High Orcs had highly refined senses, and could not only hear, taste, smell, feel, and see with excellent precision they were also said to be able to see perfectly in all kinds of darkness, even magical darkness.

History

A populous and storied people, the High Orcs were thought to be the most powerful and civilized peoples in all of western and eastern Ea when their empire reigned supreme, but due to an unknown catastrophe almost all information about them, their empire, their culture and their civilization has been utterly forgotten and obliterated.

Average Physique
High Orcish physique was as varied as the climates of the world. Their bodies were by default tall, broad-shouldered and not especially toned but with effort(or lack thereof) they could become thinner and more muscular or conversely even larger and more fat.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
High Orcish bodies were often greenish in color at the moment of their birth, but in time depending on their environment, mood, and a host of other factors their skin could change color to a myraid of other colors along the spectrum. High Orcish bodies often had luminescent lines that were appear on their bodies not long into their childhood which crisscrossed their bodies like twisting mazes...no two patterns were ever said to have been the same.
