Physical Description
General Physical Condition
As a High Vampire, Kalgar is literally and objectively the image of physical perfection...this is not hyperbole nor exaggeration nor statement of opinion as many imagine, but a simple statement of fact; High Vampires emit a subtle extraordinary aura that causes all who perceive them to view them as the very image of that creature's idea of physical perfection. This compulsion cannot be ignored by any mortal means, and as such Kalgar appears to all as perfection itself. He can control every aspect of his body at will, cannot come down with illness nor disease, and is so divinely agile and strong that none but gods are said to be his match.
Body Features
His body ripples with muscle, his skin is tanned to a beautiful bronze, and his hair is constantly luscious and silky no matter what he is doing or what environment he is in.
Facial Features
His face is chiseled and sculpted with anatomically and mathematically perfect features, and though he generally lacks facial hair his massive lion's mane of silky purple hair more than makes up it. His bones are perfectly sculpted to fit his face, and his jawline is prominent and proud, like royalty. Overall, his face appears to many as if it were carved by a grandmaster artisan from solid marble.
Identifying Characteristics
As the only High Vampire known to exist in the world, he is one of a kind and cannot be missed so long as he wears his 'default' form. His massive mane of purple hair, generally naked upper torso, and rippling muscles are often enough to allow others to identify him...otherwise, his natural voice is so deep, rich, and baritone that once heard, cannot be be forgotten or mistaken.
Special abilities
As a High Vampire, he has proven what countless scholars over the ages have believed: That his kind each boasted absolute mastery of a facet of creation, like mighty proto-gods.
He himself claims mastery over Light in all forms, and is capable of bending, emitting, controlling, and manipulating it at will as easily as breathing...he can even harden the light he produces or controls and shape it into non-living objects, in an incredible display of power. He has such a mighty and fine control over light that with but a simple wave of his hand he can cause light to shine permanently over an entire nation, banishing darkness forever...he can also harden light on a similarly terrifying scale.
In addition to his plethora of other unique abilities, he can also absorb and digest matter at but a touch...by merely stabbing his hand into a creature's chest or flesh, he can completely break them down and absorb them into his own existence, nourishing him as he devours their body and even soul as his own.
Lastly, he is said to be capable of regenerating from any attack thrown at him...he is believed to be truly unkillable.
Apparel & Accessories
He lacks a sense of shame entirely, and rarely wears little more than a large and elaborate cloth wrapping to cover his waist and crotch. He wears no jewelry or decorations, and lets his body speak for itself as he believes that "Like a perfectly sculpted statue, true beauty needs no accentuation". The sole exception to this is a small but gorgeous jeweled brooch with a beautiful emerald at the center he often wears in his hair, of seemingly sentimental value.
Specialized Equipment
He has no specialized gear, as he fights with his hands and control over light alone.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Little of his personal history is known, due to his immense age.
Sexuality
He doesn't understand the word nor the concept. He does as he pleases to whom he pleases, though his race is believed to be sterile, and incapable of reproduction.
Accomplishments & Achievements
After awakening, he rapidly ascended to control the Vaylkrond Vampires of Northern Venau, whereupon he soon declared the formation of a new country, Valgusar, as he used his massive and mighty control over light to form an entire miniature continent and island chain in the World's End ocean north of Venau, creating the lands of his new country from the light he controlled with but a finger wave.
Afterwards, he dueled Barkhan the Eternal in a duel of epic proportions after seeing the Lich and his Undead nation as Ugly beyond compare, and threats to his rule...though he was obliterated dozens of times by his foe's might, his inability to be killed allowed him to triumph in the end and kill his foe, Barkhan the Eternal...though he was unable to kill his foe permanently due to his Lich nature.
Failures & Embarrassments
None.
Morality & Philosophy
He holds no greater morality or philosophy in higher regard than his own. He is the absolute law of all living creatures, and he sees all life as beautiful things, splendid things, and wonderful things...albeit, things that when left uncontrolled and unchecked, can run amok. He believes life is best served beneath a firm guiding hand(his, of course), and believes that other tyrants and rulers are nothing but petty ants in comparison. He believes in absolute rule and careful management of all living things, but he wants to see all life succeed nonetheless...he wants to see their beauty prosper and flourish, though he simply thinks that cannot happen without his hand.
Otherwise, he cares little for morality and does as he pleases. Beauty is his one and only philosophy, and the protection and promotion all beautiful things...including all life and living creatures, though many find this kindhearted belief is a bit more cruel than they would think. He cares for the concept of a thing, not for the minutiae...he loves the idea of "Humans" and will protect them, but cares little if a city of them is wiped out; there are always more in the end, after all. He can and will brutally slaughter a thousand or ten thousand creatures for refusing to accept his rule or for being 'Ugly', but will turn around and save the same amount of people or greater if it means keeping the whole intact.
That contradiction, and that deadly neutrality, is what defines him as one of the most dangerous creatures in existence in the modern day.
Personality Characteristics
Savvies & Ineptitudes
He is a savant in everything he wishes to do, and has no ineptitudes as from an inherent inability to grow or learn. His race is stagnant, and exist as they were born ad infinitum. he cannot grow as mortals do without unfathomable time and difficulty, and he cannot fathom having ambition or growth as mortal races do.
Likes & Dislikes
Likes beauty, living creatures, Emotion, People-Watching, guiding others along the path he chooses for them, creating works of art and beauty, Leading others, and Getting what he wants.
Dislikes Undead, Ugliness, Darkness, Those unable or unwilling to grow, those without ambition, Undead(He really hates undead), and destruction of works of art or beauty.
Virtues & Personality perks
Almost nothing can truly anger or offend him besides Undead. He is infinitely patient with the living. Wants to guide and shepherd all living creatures along the path to beauty and greatness, if they would only accept his guidance. He is incredibly wise, well-learned, and experienced in almost all facets of life thanks to his immense age, and can advise creatures on almost all topics well and competently.
Vices & Personality flaws
Can be arrogant and unreasonable to such a degree that he often will not even listen or pay attention to the suggestions or opinions of others if he believes them inferior, and can become insufferable if they refuse to do as he asks or follow the path or advice he has laid down for them. His overbearing and bombastic personality can smother and push away those he interacts with, and can put them off of talking to him after only a scant few minutes.
Hygiene
He can control every aspect of his body with but a thought, and rarely allows himself to get dirty unless he is somehow served a benefit by doing so.
Social
Contacts & Relations
As he has only recently been reawakened from his eons long slumber, Kalgar is still incredibly new to the world of Ea and as such, has relatively few contacts or relations outside of his rule of the Vampires of Valgusar, the Adventuring Group known as The Travelers, and those who bear witness to his overwhelming power. Usually, he does not deign to even make contact with other beings, whom he mostly considers 'Adorable but misguided things', only revealing himself to them to appear as a glorious god-like figure to lead them along the path he desires for them, or force them along the path he prefers.
Family Ties
All of his family were the High Vampires, all of whom were sealed away or slain by the gods eons ago, during The Rapture War.
Religious Views
Kalgar dislikes the gods immensely and looks upon those who put faith in religion with disdain, and it is only through a twist of irony that he has come to be seen as a god by those mortals who have seen his power. He believes that mortal creatures should put stock in their own power alone, and in those living creatures who can guide them to a greater existence.
Social Aptitude
To all who meet him, Kalgar is said to ooze beauty, confidence, and charisma like a dam lets out water. He is beauty incarnate, confident to the point of arrogance, and holds himself above all things as a perfect shepherd and guide for them. He speaks to all other living creatures with charm, charisma, and with a tone of voice that one might use when talking down to children...he looks down upon all he meets, but talks to them with all the unrivaled confidence and charm of a glorious golden god, come to lead his lesser flock to salvation, putting them at ease as he convinces them to submit to his ultimate will.
Mannerisms
Flamboyant, Bombastic, Passionate, and Beautiful...all of these are words commonly ascribed to Kalgar. He gestures wildly and with passion as he speaks, and whatever he does or feels, he does so with passion and unrivaled motivation...to such a degree that his mannerisms can be considered incredibly off-putting to those who meet him, as his overflowing ego and bombastic charm can seem so overbearing as to smother them. He often moves wildly, gesturing passionately, and uses his innate control over light itself to create intricate illusory dioramas and backgrounds to assist him while he talks. He is animated and egotistic, and does everything far in excess of the norm.
Hobbies & Pets
He has no pets, but he loves nothing more than pursuing and performing any of the arts...sculpting, poetry, writing, painting...all of the arts are his domain, as well as all expression of creativity and ingenuity which he loves so much. Any form of self-expression is one he assuredly has mastered, and enjoys with all the bottomless drive and zeal of a mad scientist.
One of his more eccentric hobbies is one where he uses his innate control over light itself to create amazing and intricate illusory statues of others out of light itself, like large life-sized holograms of them that appear so lifelike as to be reality.
Speech
His voice is deep, rich, throaty, and baritone, he speaks with deep passion and desire, and he often refers to almost all living creatures he meets as 'his lambs', 'his sheep', or some variation thereof. The worst insult he often doles out is 'Ugly', as he considers ugliness one of the greatest sins any creature can commit...though his definition is much more complicated than many assume at first.
When referring to himself, he will almost always begin with "I, Kalgar,-".
Relationships
History
Due to his immense disdain for Undead creatures, perhaps it was inevitable that Kalgar came into conflict with the legendary Lich King, Barkhan Aeturna...as the two met for negotiations as two Kings, the discussions quickly turned sour, and the two ended up in a duel of such titanic proportions that it left permanent city-sized scars on the Vaylkrond Mountains in Northern Venau...and though Barkhan met his end at the hands of his foe, it was not before slaying him nearly thirty separate times, each more deadly and ingenious than the last in a herculean display of magical might. Thanks to his Lich nature, he was able to regenerate from his death, however.
Wealth & Financial state
Kalgar does not understand or care for the concept of material wealth, and whatever wealth he does come to possess is mostly ignored and left to rust. If he wants to acquire something, he will not lower himself to buying it; he will usually either take it by force or convince the person or creature that holds it to give it to him, so that a better and more beautiful creature can possess it...he generally prefers bartering and making deals in exchange for favors to paying with coin or wealth, especially since the concept of material wealth escapes him.

Quotes & Catchphrases
Beauty is not skin deep, it is life itself, and one's very soul! It is beauty, passion, drive, ambition, morality, love, and hatred, all things that make you vibrant!
To be alive is to be beautiful, and to be beautiful is to be alive!
Like a perfectly sculpted statue, true beauty needs no accentuation.
Ugliness is not just an affront to aesthetics, it is an affront to life itself. To be alive and to be ugly is to fail as a living creature, and to be dead and pretend at life, is even worse.
