The Psychotic Spires
Divine Planar Realm of Kos, The God of Exploration and Madness
A realm where sanity is unheard and mortal minds shatter and unravel. Here, massive spires of unnerving eldritch design twist and curve into the sky with silent majesty, the very act of looking at them enough to drive one shriekingly mad in a scant few hours...here, in this infinite plane where sanity is merely a suggestion, the terrain constantly shifts and expands, verdant forests turning into barren wastelands, then sprawling cave complexes flush with life and loot...and it is in these places, where the known becomes the unknown and the sane becomes the insane that the faithful of the Mindborer set out on a never-ending quest to fully map out and explore the realm to satisfy their unending curiosity.
Despite the madness of this cause, the delicious irony only drives the faithful forward as they dive happily into unknown locales and terrains to uncover what lies within, the life and knowledge within drawn from across the planes and providing an unending source of excitement, exploration, combat, and learning for those who are brought to this plane. However, unlike the realm of Kosm, The Psychotic Spires are a place that can be navigated by the sane, though it is difficult. If one insists and struggles with all their might, and possesses a will of solid steel sanity can be kept intact...a feat which only attracts the love of Mother Kos even more. In time, even the mad regain their sanity here, at which time they happily dive back into their unending exploration once more, where they go mad or stay sane based solely on their own might and the love of Mother Kos. Despite the maddening and hostile nature of the realm, none are capable of death here so long as they are faithful, instead returning to Kos's loving embrace for a time before being birthed back into the plane from her eldritch embrace to continue their hunt anew.
Geography
The Geography in The Psychotic Spires is perpetually changing, and thus cannot be defined for very long as the landscape eternally shifts and mutates at the whims of eldritch beings...the eerie purplish ground is constantly pulsating and changing, the structures here never around for long before they slowly unravel themselves into molecules and reform as something completely different. The insanity-inducing forests made of purple rock, bone, and countless other materials constantly twist and writhe as the mountains itch and crawl in the air...the hills thrum and beat, the plains shiver and swirl when trod upon, and the underground caverns move about like living worms beneath the ground...all things that serve very well to provide a source of unending, madness-inducing exploration to those who live there.
Fauna & Flora
The flora here, much like the Geography, are things of curious madness. Though they are all species and types that could never be found on the Material Plane, a fact which would interest even the most reticent of explorers or scholars, they are constantly whispering in inaudible voices of the madness that tears at the Psyche of all who live in The Psychotic Spires...
The Fauna are much the same, and all hail from distant and alien worlds within the Planescape...and though each one may be unique, alien and eldritch as well as yet undiscovered by Mortal Minds, they are often anathema to reason and sanity.
Natural Resources
There are plentiful natural resources within The Psychotic Spires, from animals to plants, grain and wood and stone to even technology...however, due to the morphing nature of the plane, such resources are incredibly hard to find as they often spiral out of existence as soon as they are discovered...as if to simply mock those who discover them.
