The mysterious event that saw the High Elves of old vanish from the world.

Little is known about this event, but Elven Scholars that have been willing to talk speak of tales that their people talk of where their ancestors, the High Elves, who had come into existence near the beginning, were forced to abandon the material plane and leave for destinations unknown by some unknown cataclysm, or what others call a migration of sorts.   While more information is not available, or what destination they were traveling to, what is known is that after this event, the High Elves have never been heard from again on the material plane...only in the faces of their ancestors, The Elves of Modern Day, is there evidence of their existence...
