After birthing the gods and all of the Planescape, the dwindling essence of Atlas the Overdeity explodes all across the Planescape, permeating it entirely and filling the bodies and minds of all living and unliving things, a permeating essence that takes root in everything, even the soil, air, water, and everything else....and in the process, gives birth to Magic itself as well as many ancient and powerful outsiders.

Finally losing the last of its coherent form, the dead essence of Atlas, The Ineffable detonates outwards as it reaches critical mass, condensing down to a single point before spreading across the entire Planescape like a massive burst of energy, giving birth to countless powerful forms of life such as Angels, Devils, and more...and first among these lifeforms born from this primordial chaos was the High Elves, living beings of pure chaos that were the first truly sentient and mortal races. As this massive wave of energy spread outwards, the lingering power of the Overdeity permeated all of reality and the Planescape, becoming an ever-present and all-encompassing force that dwelt within every blade of grass, every tree, the air, and every life and thing in existence.   This force would come to be known as Atlen, a force that could be harnessed and controlled to accomplish truly miraculous things...even those untalented with its use could instead harness the latent Atlen that dwelt within the natural world, serving the will of the nascent spirits of nature as its guardians and protectors.
