Reverend Lady Gwendra Jaladie (a.k.a. Gwen)
(Royal Chaplin and religious advisor) – A priestess of the Alyite Order. Gwendra is a tall, elegant woman with an unusual appearance. Part Danite, Dark Corgerian and Southron Corgerian she has blond, almost white hair, light brown skin and golden eyes. She typically wears well-cut silk clothing of the Alyite scarlet and high black boots. The only jewelry she wears is an Alyite holy symbol. She usually fights with a rapier, dagger and throwing knives. Her speech is refined and formal. She is very devout and seeks women warriors to join the Alyite Sect. She is a partisan of Queen Floret, but has toned down her support for the Queen to avoid lessen tensions with her Sword Sisters Klonna and Khandora.
Before coming to court she functioned as a travelling recruiter for the Order. She often become a protector for abused women calling out their antagonists to duels. Her travelling made long-term relationships difficult causing Gwendra to seek the company of prostitutes. Once at court she found maintaining relationships became easier and now is married to two cousins and children. (AO)
Physical Description
Fit and muscular with light brown skin and a shapely build,
Typically she wears a cloak and tunic of Alyite Red with breeches tucked into high black leather boots and leather gloves.
Gwendra carries a magical rapier and dagger. She carries tow throwing knives in her boots. She does not wear armor, but wear bracers of protection and a cloak of protection.
Mental characteristics
After joining the Alyite Order, Gwendra became a priestess and eventually was sent out as a recruiter by the Order. She traveled the lands around the Inner Sea where she developed a preoccupation in acting as a defender of abused women. She would arrange encounter with their abusers that would result in her calling them out for a duel. Such encounters either ended with the abuser dead or agreeing to leave the woman in question alone. Eventaully the Order suggested she should visit the newly established Kingdom of the Faroo and see if she could get a place as a religious adviser to the Queen. Queen Atheneis took a liking to the priestess inviting her to stay on and taking her as a lover. The two women became Sword Sisters and the closest of friends. Since this time Gwendra has become a fixture at court and has started her own family.
Lesbian. Gwendra's early wandering life ruled out long term relationships and consisted of a series of flings and dalliances with prostitutes. This changed when she joined the Court. She developed a stable relationship with Atheneis, Klonna and Floret. Eventually she entered into marriage with two women while maintaining her previous relationships.
As a teenager she joined the Alyite faith to train as a soldier. The Priestesses soon recognized she was an exceptional young woman and offered her an opportunity to have a religious education.
Gwendra is a Priestess of the Alyite Order and is also Priestess to the Imperial Court. Previously she was something of a lone wolf operative for the Order seeking recruits, gathering intelligence and dealing with problems of concern to the Order. She also was a defender of abused women calling their abusers out for duels or helping them escape their abuser.

History
Gwendra deliberately recruited Floret to come to the Imperial court. Her hope was that Floret would catch the attention of the Empress and cause her to abandon Queen Willamina. Although Floret was indeed successful at capturing Atheneis' attention, Queen Willmina stayed firmly in her position. Gwendra has come to regret aiming Floret at Atheneis and wishes she had married her instead.

History
Arla and her cousin met Gwendra in a Landor tavern. Gwendra was looking for some casual championship whicch the cousins were not adverse to providing. The trio ended up in bed. The chemistry was agood enough for the relationship to become a romance. Gwendra invited the pair to move into her apartments and after a year of living together married both cousins. Since that time Arla has been a happy, if not exactly devoted wife having flings with other court women and periodic sprees of drinking of drinking and gambling. As time has gone on her cousin and Gwendra have gotten better or more proactive at reining her in. Arla for her part intellectually knows she need the other two women to keep her out of trouble, but has a hard time resisting the temptation to get into it.
