Lords of Rowes
The Lords of Rowes – The Lords of Rowes are five men and two women, all violent warlords engaged to various degrees in piracy. The most senior of these Garron Red Beard, a personally flamboyant, but militarily cautious sea dog who prefers running maritime protection rackets to out-and-out piracy. He is currently the master of the citadel and is referred to as the King of Rowes, although in reality he is more the first among equals. Varna Karn is Garron’s former consort, but broke with him once she caught him sleeping with her eldest daughter. His first ship was his own naval command and he has added another half dozen mid-sized warships to his fleet. Skotta the Reaper is the most violent and vile of the Lords of Rowes. He typically commands anywhere from 10-20 ships which he uses for violent and bloody raids. He has burned towns, slaughtered the inhabitants of settlements that have resisted him and sacked temples. Anyone falling into Skotta’s hands should expect no mercy. Sarrell Kar Ladounna, a Southron who started out as prisoner of the pirates. Through of combination of intelligence and toughness she has fought her way to the top of the pirate hierarchy. She now commands a dozen ships. She is known for a consultative style of leadership, but will ruthlessly take out any of her captains that might become a threat
