Shadow Cohort

This is a small unit organized to carry out special tasks for the Zalarite Order. The unit was organized by Commander Arrenda Eslan, one of the Order's most capable independent operatives. Arrenda has handpicked all the unit members taking in exceptional warrior, mages and priestesses. When she sees a woman she want she will aggressively recruit them, even if they are not already a member of the Order. The members of the Cohort are intensely loyal to each other and are a finely tuned fighting machine. While capable of extreme and effective violence, the cohort often uses more subtle tactics.
The current membership of the Shadow Cohort is Arrenda Khorra Arriko Esland (Commander), Arsta and Annika Corvo, Zarren Hiyos, Vanta Arrella Asteria Arvos, Tallia Belonia Sulliv Orvan, Zellana Arriya Merka, Castella, Serva Elissa Sarun Vellios, Dardora Andra Askello Ordu, Aleska Everu and Averra Korria Morden Kadron.

Manpower

The unit has ten permanent members, but will power, recruit and hire additional personnel as needed.

Equipment

All members of the unit have both a riding horse and a warhorse. They often can draw special materials like magical potions and powders for their missions.

Weaponry

Each member chooses their own weapons, armor and equipment. Every member of the unit has at least one magical item.

Structure

Arrenda Eslan is the commander of the Cohort, but trusts most of her people to be able to operate independently. Frequently, the unit will break into groups of two or three as their task requires.

Tactics

The unit usually avoids stand up fights preferring assassinaiton, stealth attacks and ambushes.
