Planet with it's only purpose and feature being a gigantic city-school, also called "The Academy". Once said to be created by a demi-god seeking to achieve god hood and gain the attention of his parents. It now stands famous for creating the most powerful and smartest students in the galaxy. Most initiates are donated just after birth as payment for a dept and are subsequently subjected to both magical, physical and mental test in order to decide where they are best placed for training.

There's a big entry plaza with a great statue of its creator combined with fountains and flowers and bushes. From there it splits off into the different sections:

The Scribe, the section used for training wizards and scribes. Acces to The Library is also available through here.
The Library, a huge Library filled with light from the sky and mirrors to redirect the light into different places. Accessed inside the scribe.
The Workshop, a place where alchemist, artillerist, battle smiths and other artificers are trained. Located on the ring.
The Conservatoire, a place where bards and other musicians are trained. Each college is on it's own location on the ring.
The Gardens, a series of linked bubbles of self sustaining eco-systems. Used for created mundane and magical plants and occasionally for druids. Most of them are located on the ring although the summit also has a bubble.
The Mountain, a large mountain with 4000 steps. A training ground for martial artist and a place for meditation.
The Temple, a small temple with lots of small fountains and waterways, with natural light coming through holes in the ceiling. Paying homage to Cybele. Stands at the foot of the mountain.
The residential areas; Chambers where all of the students and staff (with exception of members with private chambers near to their offices in working regions) stay for meals, sleeping, washing and all other mundane and daily duties and tasks.

In the Academy a strict hierarchy is followed with it's creator at the top. There are certain ranks acquired by the staff during their time. In ascending order: guest/student, community guardian, magus principus/keeper/mage, magus protectus, guardian, magus primus, council members (magus adeptus), rector/rectress, his Divinity. In such an institution enforcement of the rules is essential as to keep the system functioning and not be subject to crime. With exceptions, the rules are as follows:

Using Illusion magic to trick staff, visitors or students, especially of the disguising kind is strictly prohibited and punishable by fine, imprisonment, exile or death. With exception if granted permission by an magus protectus or higher ranking official.

Entering or leaving the campus without due permission from any staff. Punishable by fine or imprisonment.

Necromantic and Enchantment Magic of any kind without supervision and permission of a guardian or higher ranking official. Punishable by exile, imprisonment or death.

It is prohibited for students to be entering working areas after curfew and unsupervised. Punishable by suspension or exile.

It is strictly prohibited to perform any kind of magic while being in the library or the temple. Punishable by fine, imprisonment, suspension, exile or deprivation of magical abilities.

Impersonation and any attempt at the harming of any official, damaging, stealing or defiling any Academy or Academy adjacent owned property. Punishable by fine, imprisonment or death.

Any Guardian has the right to take into custody any potential offender. Any magus protectus has the right to take into custody any offender and judge accordingly if need be. A trial can be demanded by any offender and shall be presented before the appropriate council. Additionally a challenge can be requested if his Divinity is present, wherein the offender shall duel his Divinity. After which his Divinity will rule the verdict of the trial. Any council member can decide to overrule any law or rule at any time for any reason. Only to be overruled by his Divinity.

Geography

The planet is not spherical like most and it also doesn't have a flyable atmosphere or a star system from which spaceships can draw power and fly. This being a closed system cannot be accessed from space but it can be seen.

History

This place was created around the beginning of the 3rd century AE by a demi-god and was led by him. The Academy has been expanding ever since. However during the great expanse their leader went missing and hasn't been seen since.
