Maresol

Maresol, or "Mother Sun", is one of the primary deities of Celestialism. She is believed to be the creator of all life, and rules over the sky from dawn to dusk. She is often depicted as a lover or spouse of Pareluna, the god of the moon.

Priests

Every Celestial temple has two head priests, one of whom represents Maresol. Crowned with the solar crown, the head priest mirrors the path of the sun across the sky by walking a slow circuit across the temple's circular dais from dawn to dusk. At noon services, the priest recounts stories from Celestial scripture for worshippers.
