Pareluna

Pareluna, or "Father Moon", is one of the primary deities of Celestialism. He is often depicted as a lover or spouse of Maresol.

Divine Domains

Pareluna rules over the night, shadows, and sleep. He is also responsible for overseeing the many constellations and stars, or "little gods". Prayers to Pareluna usually ask for sweet sleep, safe passage at night, and protection from things that lurk in the dark.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Pareluna is represented by a silver moon. The phase of the moon changes the associated meaning. A full silver moon is said to represent Pareluna at his most powerful, while a thin crescent references the waxing and waning of his power.   Celestial priests representing Pareluna wear silver crowns engraved with the phases of the moon.

Holidays

The five day Lunar Sabbath celebrated each month by observant Celestialists marks the nights when the moon is absent from the sky, and Pareluna is believed to be resting from his nightly duties and spending time with Maresol.
