Quen'Astra (kwen-AS-truh)

The Quen'Astra, also known as the Astral Elves or the Moon Weavers, are an ethnic group of elvish refugees that splintered from the Blackblood elves of Tar'Virren over 60,000 years ago, in the Age of Heart.   Astral elven families have served as pillars of trade, travel, and pathfinding since the beginning of the Age of Grace. Many of these elves have ventured deep into the tunnels of Chorus, mapping out their intricacies and allowing for the free flow of trade through the planes, even without portal magic. The most prominent of these trading families have settled in Zivilon and have entreated with the Six-guilds for favorable deals. One such family, the Magellanic syndicate, has recently joined the guilds in full; a rare feat and a departure from the nomadic ways of their ancestors.   Quen'Astrans worship several deities, including Phaethos, Efsane, Garga, and both Tuir and Calydon. The faiths of Tuir and Calydon are uniquely held by the elves that have integrated into societies that worship them already, such as Zivilon. Phaethos and Efsane, deities associated with the voids of Chorus, are more widely prayed to by the numerous elven families in Chorus.
