Axe of the First Reaver

An axe made from an obsidian blade buried by a bouquet of teeth, claws, barbs, nettles, and stingers. This axe has been passed down among the lead hunters of the Aluta tribe for generations, evolving as each First Reaver added pieces from noteworthy kills and others fell away.
Itthis won the Axe of the First Reaver from the Aluta First Reaver, Raven, after foiling his attempts to kill his chieftain, Koryak, during a dispute over a bride. Raven was forgiven for his transgressions because the plot was engineered by the bride herself in conjunction with the geit Hrothgar clan. He presented Itthis with the axe as a sign of contrition and shame.

Effect: Whenever the user hits an enemy with the Axe of the First Reaver, the enemy loses -2” of its base Pace (does not affect Sprinting pace).
Familiarity Affinity (3): Staggering Strike. The user angles the axe so that the barbs of cockatrice quills strike at the user’s veins. When making this attack, Raises on attack tests do not inflcit Armor Break, but cause the target to lose all of its Pace.
Familiarity Affinity (3): Razor Strike. The user flips the blade of the axe to strengthen the impact of a row of razor sharp seal-shark teeth. When making this attack, Raises on attack tests do not inflict Armor Break, but inflicts Bleeding for each Raise.
Familiarity Affinity (8): Wild Blows. The user can wield the Axe of the First Reaver to create secondary arcs using the blade’s extra appendages. Even misses on attacks cause enemies to lose -1” to their Pace.
