Guao

The Guao are a primate species native to Turiken. They have the appearence of gorillas with four arms and elk-like horns. Their black hides also dissolve alchemical spells on combat. While commonly mistaken for simple beasts, Gauo are actually far more intelligent than most species on the spheres.
Despite their physical prowess, few guao ever leave Turiken, as their many evolutionary gifts require substantial caloric intake to maintain. Thus, many starve without access to the nutrient-rich flora and fauna similarly blessed by Turiken's accelerated evolutionary cycle. There are, however, some notable acceptions, such as the Corsair, Dennis, who is a loyal friend of Jin Bei.
