Turiken

Turiken is a jungle moon located in Io's East Orbit. Distant from other civilized moons in the Homyn Kingdom, the Lunar Brigade's efforts to annex the moon have remained unconsumated for decades. This is largely due to the moon's accelerated adaptation cycle, which grants its inhabitants abilities far beyond most spheres' flora and fauna. Turiken is home to many dangerous species who harry unsuspecting brigadiers, like the powerful simian Guao or the conniving oblia leeches.
The Lunar Brigade maintains a presence on the moon, although serious annexation efforts have long been forestalled. They often use posts on Turiken to punish drafted brigadiers who anger homyn nobility.
The only stable settlement on Turiken is a small town called Port Royce, named after a corsair stationed there during his time in the Lunar Brigade.
