Hiei the Scrupulous Sloth

One of the members of the mischievous band of critters from Tanuki folk-tales who worked together to try to (unsuccessfully) steal crops from the farmer, Papa Tanuk. Hiei appears as a sloth who dons his totem: a traditional Mong Bal burglar’s face-mask. In the Papa Tanuk stories, Hiei was the crew’s safe-cracker and pickpocket. He was generally portrayed as a highly competent thief when left to his own devices, but his impatient comrades would inevitably blow the heist before his scrupulous methods could bear fruit.   Hiei was captured and imprisoned by The False Prophet in the House of Idols. Itthis made a deal with the Prophet to lease Hiei and two other familiars out in hopes of increasing the prayers they receive for the Prophet's congregation to feed on.
Skills Sneak 1d10-6 [Pickpocket] Disable 1d10-6 Sabotage 1d10-6 Traits Pace 3” Toughness 2   Miracle-Meticulous. Hiei never breaks stealth for failing Skill tests on his turn. Thus he does not get caught if he fails to get the Get the Drop on an enemy and he does not alert enemies or trigger traps when he fails to Disable something.   Miracle-Inching Infiltrator. By reducing his Pace to 1” per turn, Hiei cannot be detected, even if he crosses an enemy’s Line of Sight..
