Reikeh

The Reikeh are powerful ancient daemons who rule the dream world. Four in number, each Reikeh has a different portfolio and temperament in the Dream World, interacting with mortals and humans to varying degrees:
--The Blind Queen, or the Goddess, sires and guides civilizations and is responsible creating gods worshipped by primitive societies. She is known for retreating into the dream world when her subjects turn toward hubris and technology.
--The Prince of Fury was once responsible for the Dream World's defense. But he was imprisoned by his brother after he martialed his forces against the Waking World.
--The Lord of Bargains, or Christoph Ebliss, rules the demi-plane of High Mephisto, a hub of commerce among daemons.
--The King of Tears rules the Deep, an entropic plane where the spirits of the dead are slowly forgotten and fade away.
While well-known amongst daemons and mortal scholars of the Dream World, the origin and true nature of the Reikeh remain a mystery. Visiting Progenitor ruins, the Party has discovered that they share a name with one of the two civilizations who became known as the Progenitors. It was said the Reikeh lived on planets while their rivals, the Jallen lived in space. The two sides engaged in a conflict called the Hyperion War, which tore the stars asunder.
