Spirit Forger

In the final days of King Laho’s reign, the Moku chieftain sought to shape the very nature of The Dream World itself to cure his people. The exact consequences of this first act of “hubris” differ between historical and theological accounts, but all agree that this dark discipline marked a terrible setback for the Moku people.
Requirements: Evoke, Smithing

1d4-Spirit Forger’s Mindset (Passive upon Activation)
A spirit forger does not take figments as he finds them, but forges them to become stronger, last longer, or even so that they are suited to a different purpose entirely. When in the spirit forger’s mindset, any figment that the user summons is inherently more resistant to banishment. Any time his figments would otherwise be sent to The Deep, he adds his Discipline Die to figment’s force value.

1d6- Figment Armor (Active)
The user can repurpose figments he finds on the battlefield into armor for him and his companions. Rather than evoking a figment, he may use his discipline die to convert the figment into astral armor and imbue it into a temporary armor boost to the armor of the forger or his allies.

Each figment grants a +1 armor bonus. However, a forger cannot exceed the armor value of the object he is improving with astral bonuses.

1d8- Deadly Figments (Passive)
When the spirit forger summons a figment, he augments its abilities with the astral plane around it. He replaces any rolls the figment makes with his discipline die and adds his discipline die to any damage the figment does.

1d10- Figment Weapons (Active)
The forger can repurpose figments he finds on the battlefield as sharp edges for him and his companions’ weapons. Rather than evoking a figment, he may use his discipline die to convert the figment into an astral weapon enhancement and imbue it into a temporary damage boost to the weapon of the forger or his allies.

Imbuing a weapon by a figment imbues it with an extra 1d4 damage, and each additional figment increases the bonus by an additional die type. However, the spirit forger cannot improve a weapon more than its base damage amount with astral improvements.

1d12- Astral Forge (Active)
The spirit forger can create figments on his own volition using the fabric of the astral plane itself. Rather than evoking a figment, he may store that figment in his astral forge. The forger can evoke any figment stored in his astral forge with a successful test using his discipline die.

Producing a figment in the astral forge does not consume the figment. However, figments created in this way cannot be used to create astral armor or weapons.
