Rosalin Williams
Rosalin Elizabeth Williams (a.k.a. Rose)
Frederick and Maria Williams owned a small megar farm, mostly growing cotton, but also had small plots of land for growing their own foods, and a small amount of cows, goats, and chickens. Already having a young daughter (Matilda) and son (Oliver) at the time, they were happy to welcome a new baby girl into their family.
As she grew up, her parents got more and more concerned about her well being as a child. Never gaining composure to her ghostly complexion, large fangs growing in her mouth, and unnerving draws to the nighttime, they realized their adopted daughter wasn’t entirely normal. Always knowing she was different, she wasn’t ashamed that her family hid her away, opting to teach her privately, and rarely speaking about her to others. Rose wasn’t allowed around other children her age, and did her farming duties at night to avoid sunlight exposure. Her adopted siblings were told to never talk about her, and for the majority of her life she was all but erased from the Williams family. When Rose turned ten, her urge for blood got too strong, and she attacked a farm animal in the middle of the night. Once the scene was found in the morning, her family was terrified, and were certain that Rose was a monster. Still unwilling to completely abandon their daughter, they started providing small animals for her needs, and giving her the option to hunt in the woods as she got older. Frederick never dealt well with these scenes, and eventually turned to alcoholism to better cope with the realization of what his daughter was. He was a violent drunk, often beating on his wife and children, including Rose, during his fits, and gave Rose a life-long hatred for alcohol and drunks.
Her time as a teenager got more complicated and she continued to struggle with who and what she was. Often sneaking out into town in the night after her chores, she started a small string of murders in the town, not meaning to kill, but unable to fully control her bloodlust. Her parents suspected, but even at a young age Rose was smart and manipulative, and never got caught.
At age 18, Rose happily left the Williams farm, and went off on her own journey of self discovery. She traveled, learning about who she was, and what she was, and specifically what Vampires were.
In time, she met another Dhampir named Seth, who helped teach her about Dhampirs, and a career option that would eventually consume her life: Vampire Slaying. He taught her about all the advantages Dhampirs have, and how she should hate Vampires for their evil deeds, and selfishly bringing monsters like themselves into the world. For over a decade, Rose hunted vampires with Seth, and learned how to use her skills as a Dhampir more effectively, how to better control her bloodlust, and for the first time in her life, how to make a connection with another person.
Never being the type to be held down, Rose branched out on her own around the age of thirty, bidding Seth goodbye as her slaying partner. Unbeknownst to herself, she wouldn’t stay solo for long, meeting Ameila in a bar fight, and becoming good friends with her. It was with her she learned her second life long obsession: firearms. She worked with Ameila for years, learning from her, and becoming good friends with her family, often seeking their assistance on especially grueling Vampires. During this time, she also found her third life long obsession: Victor Ripper.
Maintaining a (what they would consider) good relationship with Ameila’s brother, Victor shaped Rose as she continued down her road of life. He became her most trusted friend, lover, and her preferred slaying partner. After an extensive fight, with Rose and Victor both wounded and exhausted, he made the bad decision of allowing her to feed, and nearly killed him. Terrified and feeling alienated, Rose remained distant from Victor and his family, finally deciding to make her permanent leave from their lives two weeks after this event.
After her disappearance, she traveled around Ravenloft and the Costani lands, taking her time to become a Costani guide, and continuing her work as a vampire slayer. Never staying in one place too long, she was often careful to not get caught for her infrequent strings of murder, and wanted to leave no trail for Victor--or anyone else, for that matter-- to find her. Her few relationships were still important to her, and she made sure to check in on the Rippers every so often, calling Ameila every few years, and Victor every decade. She met up with Seth a few times, but for the most part, spent the next seventy years keeping to herself.

History
First meeting Ameila in a bar fight, she became good friends with her, and learned to use firearms through her. With Amelia's help, she often joined the Rippers in various adventures and Vampire Hunting. The two continued to grow closer, having occasional sexual relations, but never becoming actual lovers. Once Rose left the group unannounced, she continued to have contact with Ameila through letters and crystal ball calls, but hasn't seen her or the family for about 70 years.

History
Starting as friends, and ending as lovers, Rose and Victor maintained a relationship with each other for many years. After a bad night of feeding ending with Victors near death, Rose made the decision it was too dangerous of a relationship to maintain, and left without as much of a goodbye. Only contacting Victor once every decade or so by Crystal Ball, Rose has barely spoken too, or seen him in person for around 70 years.
