Description
General
Aisley Allié is a local baker and owner of Allié's Baked Goods. She and her brother frequently chat about her business and the political situation out East. She's against the war, as it creates stress on her supply line and has displaced a lot of the citizentry living there. She has also been known to commit tax fraud for the sake of keeping her business running (she provides much of the local bread, but also does a lot of handouts), but continues to get away with it due to Lord Tyron's own tax fraud scheme creating excessive room for error.
Mannerisms
While Alden is incredibly fluent in Common, among other languages, Aisley is really only fluent in Elvish, and her mannerisms reflect that. She talks with her hands, and sometimes repeats individual words or phrases she's heard other people use. She doesn't like talking about Dolion, so whenever she must speak his name, she spits.
Ideals
Community "I provide bread, as I can. Need only eat. Come, eat."
Bonds
Alden Allié, Allié's Baked Goods
Flaws
Tax Fraud "What, like you can't ignore a gold piece or two so a child can eat? Bullshit."
Actions
Rolling Pin. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft. Hit: 1d4 1d4 Bludgeoning damage
Relationships
Relationship Reasoning
Aisley knows Tyron mostly through her brother, but she thinks he's insufferable. Despite her frequent attempts at tax fraud, Tyron is indifferent to her.
Relationship Reasoning
Dolion is the one who frequently has to handle Aisley's tax fraud cases, to no avail, as the Von Valekeep's books aren't precise enough to actually legally charge her with anything, and she's too popular to try to do anything on the sligh. Ultimately, he feels that she creates more work for him (and you know, Anca forbid he do his damn job). She hates him because he represents everything she despises about the local government: corruption, greed, and hypocrisy, among others. His presence also makes it harder for her to commit tax fraud.
Relationship Reasoning
Both of them have a mutual respect for the work of the other. While Aisley does believe that Slyvester should be working more against his father than he is, she still finds him to be an honorable man and speaks highly of him. Sylvester has a great appreciation for her work, which hinders Tyron's greed-driven efforts. Although he will, at some point, have to bring the hammer of the law down upon her, she is aware of this, and their goals are aligned in the meantime.
Relationship Reasoning
Ivan disapproves of Aisley's methods, but he isn't a snitch and won't say anything to her face. She's seen and used his handiwork, which she finds to be satisfactory and she finds him quite personable.
Relationship Reasoning
Since Spiffy can speak Elvish, Ivan frequently sends her to Aisley whenever they need bread. In fact, Aisley is the reason she learned to speak it in the first place. Spiffy finds Aisley quite agreeable, if a tad intimidating. Aisley finds Spiffy delightful and acts accordingly, but hides her criminal life. As a result, the two talk quite frequently, but they hide a bit from each other.
Relationship Reasoning
Lucia and Aisley chat pretty frequently about local events, and Lucia frequently gets her news about the war out East from Aisley, since Aisley talks with Alden. The two are both against the war. Lucia is also in on Aisley's tax fraud and will cover for her many times. Aisley returns the favor.
Relationship Reasoning
Aisley thinks Vulcan is a hypocrite for promoting the war whilst not fighting in it. Vulcan hates the criticism, but thinks she's a good person. He like bread.
Relationship Reasoning
Alexander is aware of that fact that Aisley's business isn't entirely above board but can't prove it and keeps his mouth shut as a result. Aisley admires his devotion to justice and agrees in premise, if not in method; thus, she thinks he's naive, but admires his ideal.
Relationship Reasoning
Aisley thinks it was foolish of Aiden to go fight in the war to begin with, but acknowledges that he didn't have much of a choice in the matter and can't help but sympathize with his position and thinks he's nice to have around. She gives him free bread whenever he comes around. He likes to be around her too, and appreciates her generosity.
