Soulforge
Albion girded himself, suppressing his urge to strike out at his doubles as they passed. He saw the expressions on their faces, haughty and cruel. They all wore the mantle of Covenant Gatecrasher, the blood of dozens of worlds staining their boots as the exodus continued. He calmed himself, centering his focus on the present, who he was now. The mirror, although cruel, would strip away his pretenses and lay the truth bare.
Purpose / Function
The Soulforge is a room in the Mirador, used to test in the internal mettle of its visitors.
Special Properties
The black mirrors strip the good in a person away, and reveal a world where they are their worst. If the Soulforge is visited as a group, those mirrored do not see this alternate world themselves, but rather only the worlds of their companions. In this way, it can be used to test the trust and bring forth the doubt in a Coterie to make it stronger.
Architecture
The path to the Soulforge is a bizarre escher-esque maze of staircases, on which walks an alternate dimension version of those walking the space. At the center of the space is a circular white chamber containing a black mirror reflecting each of its inhabitants.
History
It was said this place used often by former Gatekeeper Albion to assure himself he walked the righteous path. Previous Gatekeepers never returned after their initial trials.
Tourism
Those that wander into the Soulforge idly are likely to return mad, if at all.
