Unitian Dwarf
Commonly mistaken for Goliaths, dwarves in Unitia are far larger than their cousins in the rest of Craedock, as well as most Humans, standing to be about 8 feet tall on average. While they still maintain a large affinity for mines and mining, these dwarves tend to live in large clustered settlements at the bases of mountains and are less isolationist than their underground relatives.
Most will have a stronghold in the base of their mountain which they call "gongols", their native word for vault, used for retreat in case of war or natural disaster as well as to store food, resources, and public valuables. Myth and legend has weaved many tales of treasure hunters toiling to gain access to abandoned dwarven gongols for the riches they contain.
