Fall of the Elder Stone

Recent meteorite impact that caused the destruction of two of Craedock's largest empires, sparked a decade long winter, and bore the coming of Thellkaeon, the Third God.

This event is what some denizens of Craedock sparked the new Thellkeonic Era, although this has not been ratified by a religious council in the same way as the others. 331 years ago, a meteorite struck Craedock. It landed far away from the Acronian Sea, even if fragments of it landed nearby, and struck an island that contained what legend and lore once called the largest city of all of Craedock, a city that has many names but is known around Acronia as Aqalith.   The city is now gone, or sunk. The impact caused flooding and sent ash and dirt into the air and the land plummeted into a decade long winter. Famine, war, and chaos ensued, a cult was formed that hailed the Elder Stone and the Third God: Thellkaeon, whom it bore. However, the newly established governments faced the turmoil, and over the next hundred years the land healed and life returned to normal.
