Thellkaeon

The Third God (a.k.a. Lord of Chaos, God of the Void)

May it be said, that in the valleys, hillsides, and cities of mortals as well as the cosmos of the gods and angels, that when one being stands in awe of another, be they of Craedock or of the divine, that there are three reverences the heart may rest upon: respect, love, and fear. Throughout the world, respect is given to the father god, love is given to the mother goddess, and fear, finally, is how mortals may worship Thellkaeon.
— from the journal of Theodard Underhill upon exploring a ruined Alienist temple
Thellkaeon, also known as the God of the Void or Lord of Chaos; assumed to be the direct spawn of the primordial Void that has always existed, long before Hartzonell and Phaedra created the multiverse. His cultist followers, known as Alienists, are often considered to be mad or insane by most. His existence is highly debated, and no significant religious council has agreed upon his canon yet. For now, his followers are considered heretics at most, but in terms of cult followings, he has the largest worshipping base of any cult in Craedock.

Personal history

Although almost nothing is known about Thellkaeon, beyond the sheer power he had shown during his first appearance in Craedock, theologists at the World Synod have dated his existence to approximately three thousand years before the Fall of the Elder Stone, a meteorite strike that ravaged the land over 300 years ago. He is said to have appeared in the Material Plane when the Elder Stone struck Craedock in the region of Poslool.   Flooding and destruction of the nearby lands ensued. Many believe that fragments of the Elder Stone were scattered across the world due to the massive impact, some on land, while most were lost in the vast surrounding seas; all of which are foretold to hold great power.   Craedock has since recovered but not unscathed. The fear and destruction Thellkaeon’s appearance has caused still remains in his cultist followers and the people they come in contact with.
