Neko
The product of relations between tabaxi with other humanoid races, neko (or nekos) appear as human (or other ancestral humanoid) with feline ears and tail. Upon closer inspection they also bear sharp fangs and vertical slit pupils in their often yellow eyes. The cat people live very average lives and act no differently than humans in most circumstances. Only when their instincts are triggered do their wild feline sides come out: growling and hissing in anger, slapping a rope instead of tying it, spending an hour chasing a fly around a room, etc.. These abnormalities, however, are almost universally considered cute and actually benefit their reputation as a species. Neko are regarded as being naturally lucky and (with effort) able to succeed in almost anything they pursue. Young neko are affectionately called kittens & must be forced to pick-up normal bathing habits.
A neko's hair may be any color. The color on her ear & tail fur usually matches her hair, but may have a pattern like stripes or calico. Other eye colors include green, blue, and red (though that's always with white hair).
Neko are often named after sweet things: Apple, Azuki, Cinnamon, Ichigo, Kinomi, Kokoa, Mochi, and Vanilla.
Alignment: Mostly neutral or good, sometimes chaotic.

- Size: medium, same height as humans.
- Base speed: 30ft
- +2 racial bonus on balance, climb, craft, diplomacy, listen, move silently, Perform, sense motive, and Survival checks to track prey.
- -4 racial penalty on swim and use rope checks.
- Low-light vision.
- Graceful Fall: whenever a neko would fall from a height of 5ft or more they always land on their feet. This does not apply to being knocked prone without falling, such as from a trip attack, bull rush, of spell.
- Automatic languages: Common. Bonus languages: Sylvan, Terran, and Hengeyokai.
